Is a relationship all about work?

NO!!!!

While many think that a good relationship is all about work, it's not.  There are some things that are just deal breakers!

Getting on each others nerves

While reading Cynthia O'Neal's daily advice in out magazine, I came across a letter that piqued my interest.

In this letter the man complained about he and his partners getting on each others nerves and their lack of friends....O'neals advice was right on the money...so what am I piqued about....

A relationship tease???

Charles Purdy, a writer for Planet Out answers a very interesting question on something he calls a relationship tease.

He refers to them as those that dangle the possibility of a future relationship as he says, "stringing love-besotted admires on for months or years..or forever.

A little rain must fall

Yes even my relationship is visited by conflict...and learning how do deal with it is a skill that is everyone's responsibility to learn.  Conflict is a fact of life.  The sooner we all accept this fact the easier it will be to deal with.

In the company of others...

My partner and I have been friends for about 6 years and have been together going on 4.  We have a great blessing that we both are able to share. 

It Ruins it if I have to ask

Oh how many times I have heard members of couples say to me, "but if I have to ask for____then its not the same.

This regressed childish statement speaks of the magic of intuiting you, your needs, wants and desires!

Should I stay or should I go

Many times I am asked, "Eric, how do I know when it's time to go?" This is a very hard question to answer and I will do my darnedest to try and answer it.

While it is true that a relationship wont make you happy, a bad relationship will can cause you a great deal of misery.

So lonely!

For the past year and some months now, my partner and I have been working together at home.  Except for my one day a week jaunt into NYC each week for Friends In Deed.  We spend the majority of our daily lives together....
