Yearning vs. Longing

OK, I know that I am not the only one who gets these two muddled!

Have you ever lost a love?  I don't mean at a mall or anything, but really lost some one you were in love with, either by break up or some other form of ending?  Of course you have.  We all have and we all experience varying degrees of pain, anguish, and frustration. 

Clarity about what that anguish is about can help us turn it around, heal and move on...

I pledge alligence....

It was over 35 years ago and I can remember it perfectly....There I was in grade school saying the pledge of allegence....you might remember it to....

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all.

I have often made the statement that I stay out of politics...and for the most part I do...but today things are different....

Dating: The un-natural act!

Dating is the most un natural act of our species!

Meet someone, get to know them, ask them on a date, meet at a specified time and place to get together with the notion of getting to know them better and hopefully have fun.

A date is a socially contrived activity.  It is a construct of our own making to give the appearance of civility and try and do something more that operate with our penis!

A relationship tease???

Charles Purdy, a writer for Planet Out answers a very interesting question on something he calls a relationship tease.
